Gun laws: We represent gun owners, dealers, collectors, hunters, machine gun collectors, police departments and any one who has an interest in guns and ammunition. Our firm has many years of experience in the courtroom and in negotiating with licensing authorities on issues of gun licenses, permit issuance and revocation, suspensions and judicial appeals. We have had much success negotiating with license issuing authorities (police departments). We have extensive experience in correcting old court records, finding old probation records, correcting conviction errors and removing incorrect disqualifying criminal history information.

We handle appeals, judicial review, administrative law appeals and all types of trial work involving guns.

We deal with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms on behalf of dealers and individuals on matters of National Firearms Act transfers, licensing matters involving gun transfers, machine gun and silencer (suppressor) registration and all pistol, rifle and shotgun matters.

Aviation Law: We have extensive experience in matters involving pilot proceedings with the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board including pilot license and disciplinary proceedings.

International Law: We have broad experience in negotiating, drafting and implementing complicated joint venture agreements with countries of the Russian Federation including international banking transfers and shipments of natural resources such as oil and timber through Russian ports on the Black Sea and the Sea of Japan.

Bankruptcy: We can help individuals and businesses in chapter 7, 11 and 13 proceedings, including debt reorganization, foreclosures, liens, stays, trustee issues, relief from stays and back taxes.

Real Estate: We represent commercial and individual clients with all types of real estate transactions such as purchase and sale agreements, closings, mortgages, leases and management.

Probate and Estate Administration: We can help you with the probate process and distribution of assets upon death. We can assist you with procedures for avoiding the probate process and minimizing death taxes and the filing of estate tax returns. We offer expert advice in the tax aspects of settling estates and trusts.

DUI, OUI AND DWI Litigation: Convictions for these offenses can be disqualifying for some license purposes. We will defend you against such charges.

Divorce and Family law: We can assist with divorce proceedings and legal separations including issues of child support, alimony and parents rights.

Drafting Wills and Trusts: This is different from probating an estate. in estate planning you plan for the disposition of your assets before death. This is usually done long before one dies. Proper planning ensures the lowest possible tax payments and controls the transfer of assets to loved ones.

Elder Law: As people grow older the need to preserve assets becomes even more important. Government confiscation in the form of taxation and nursing home costs can deplete the largest of estates. Proper planning can reduce this risk.
